The Bosco 1000 is a boathook which snaps on to a buoy or cleat for temporary mooring if you are short handed. The clever part is the ability to release it remotely. This enables you to come alongside and secure your boat safely so that you can take your time in setting up bow and stern warps. No more heavy work for the lady crewmembers. When you are ready to depart, you can leave the Bosco 1000 attached and let go bow and stern warps but still keep control of the boat. As you move into gear, the Bosco 1000 can be released remotely without having to rush around the deck. Single handed docking and leaving a marina berth, even in an unfamiliar harbour, is now made easy.
The Bosco boat hook comes complete with the extending pole 3' 9" - 6' 3" (1.1metres to 2.05metres) The hook opens to a maximum of 1 7/16'' (36mm approx.) The four metre black line has a two metre white release line running down the centre before it reappears.
